And we're back!
Picked up a new camera today, after "talking" with Dave Ramsey and pulling together some Christmas money & tax money...just in time for some senior pictures with our friend Mariah! Here are a few pics of Eyla from our chilly afternoon out, hanging with Mariah's mom April!
We were having a great time, despite being a little chilly...until Eyla's binky took a swim in the White River! She didn't seem to mind at first, but once she got cold, she let us know quickly that she WANTED THE BINK. She drank part of a bottle, but decided that wasn't enough. Even tried to see if she would suck on the nipple of her bottle in place of the bink...nope, not good enough. So, after asking April & Mariah what they thought would happen if I sucked on it to clean it off for Eyla, I proceeded to "mommy sterilize" it and quiet the screaming child! If I happen to come down with some strange case of something and you can't figure out what, check the White River for clues :-)

Non-picture update for the week
No camera yet, but one is on the way in the mail for us to borrow - thanks, Mom & Dad Horning!
Just thought I'd give you a quick update on the big E. She had her 4 month doctor appointment this week, and weighs a whopping 14.7 pounds, which puts her in the 90th percentile for weight at her age. She has also grown 1.5 inches since her 2 month and gained an inch in her head, which I think is a strange measurement overall, but I guess we want her brain to grow with the rest of her! As a previous post indicated, she has her first tooth and today....drum roll please...she rolled over for the first time! She was on her belly on a blanket in the dining room and I was in the doorway of the kitchen, talking to her. Jas was in the living room (obviously, this explanation of our locations only helps you if you've been in our house!). I saw she was starting to go over, so I yelled to Jas to look, which really only resulted in him thinking something was wrong and by the time he looked, she was already on her back. We tried to get her to do it again, but with no results. But, very fun to see her getting big and hitting these milestones. We also got the okay from her dr. to start giving her baby cereal, so we tried that tonight. She was totally underwhelmed...we'll keep working on it.
Spent part of our morning munching on donuts from Deluxe Donuts, went to the grocery store, had a great lunch of chicken fried rice with Wolff's & Mischon, E & I took a 2.5 hour nap (hurray!) and now we're just chillin'.
Happy birthday wishes to sister/aunt rochelle! and late birthday wishes to brother/funcle ad! (and no, the "funcle" is not a misspelling...it is a combination of fun uncle...funcle!) LOVE YOU BOTH!
