A few of the Hornings have a habit of sleeping, pretty much with their eyes open. Eyla has picked up that trait...cute, isn't it!?! It's actually pretty creepy...especially when she smiles at the same time!!

Weekend in Columbus

Spent last weekend in Columbus, OH with cousins Deke & Andee. We always enjoy our time with them and this trip was no exception. Eyla terrorized the cat, Beck - thrift shopping on Saturday, after breakfast at First Watch - Eyla's first fire Saturday evening - Sunday lunch at a great little deli.

Sometimes when I look at these pictures, I can't believe what a beautiful, sweet little girl Jas and I have. Even as I type this, she is sitting on my lap, chattering, intrigued with the fact that there is someone that looks familiar on the screen in front of her! If this blog had sound, I'd let you listen in. Two of the pictures below are her sitting in her chair, a great Goodwill find a couple weeks ago. She loves not only sitting in, but standing on it, waiting for us to tell her to sit down while she gives us a smile that says, "I knew when I stood up you'd tell me to sit back down!" Love this girl so much.

Hanging at daycare

I spent some time at daycare with Eyla this week, to get some pictures of her day there. Here are a few of them...eating lunch, playing with her buddies, with her teacher Jessie, napping on her cot.

So big...

Eyla is getting so big...I guess that is what happens when I don't post as regularly. Since last post, she has started to laugh (sounds kind of fake/forced, but so funny!), move quicker (crawling, hanging on to our hands or furniture), stand up in the tub, brush her teeth...and today, SHE WALKED!!!!!!! Unbelievable.
