Happy Half Birthday, Eyla Grace!

Today is Eyla's half-birthday, marking 18 months since she was born.  Such a fun, beautiful, happy little girl that we love so much!  Here are a couple favorite pictures from the last couple days.  She keeps us laughing, either out-right or with turned heads, as we can't help, but laugh at her antics or even at things that we've told her not to do.  Definitely has a little bit of a defiant streak, and has taken to dropping like a limp rag if we take her hand or try to pick her up and she doesn't want it.  (that would be a moment that we laugh, even if we don't intend to!)  We are so blessed to be her parents, and are enjoying it so much.  We love you, Eyla Grace!

Reading & animal sounds

Reading a book after her bath the other night.Animal noises/motions: lizard, snake, dog!  She is really good at her animal sounds...my favorite is the elephant!

Ft. Wayne

Met my parents in Ft. Wayne last weekend after church.  Good lunch at Bob Evans, coffee from Starbucks, a little shopping and a lot of hanging outside, including at the fountain.  Here are a couple pics from our day.

Eyla, the window washer

Last day at Park Place

Eyla started at a new daycare this week.  The pictures below are from her last day at Park Place - thanks to all our friends there who have loved and cared for Eyla since she was 6 weeks old!  These pictures show her teachers, Erica & Isabel, and her favorite friends, Annabelle & Marah.  We miss you all!!

Pictures...

So, you thought you were going to get captions with these pictures?  Guess again.  A few random ones of Eyla's goofiness, and some from Easter weekend when Rochelle & Doug visited.

She likes to put anything she can find around her shoulders/neck like a boa...including underwear and boxers.

A couple pics...

Beautiful day at the AU track!
Fell asleep like this on the living room floor one night.  The mohawk is a result of a pig tail that day!
Playing at Shadyside...
