Water fun

Went to a splash park about 15 minutes from Anderson yesterday with friends Liz, Addie and Evan. Wonderful way to cool off, and Eyla loved it!  She would walk right through large gushes of water, and come out gasping and grinning!  One of her funnier moves was to back into the water, as if it would keep it from going into her face.  We will definitely go back...you're welcome to join us anytime!

Pictures for your viewing pleasure

Here are a variety of pictures from the last week or so.  The diaper-only shots (of Eyla, of course!) are compliments of how stinkin' hot our house is!  Enjoy!

I found her sitting here in the rocking chair one morning, with a snack I had given her.

First egg-in-a-hole: she loved the dunking aspect!

This was her helping unload groceries from the the store last weekend.  She would put her entire head in the bag, just to pull out one can.  Then, it turned into a game, with her peeking through her legs at Jas!

New lawn chair for $1 from a garage sale.
Jas brought her this cardboard house from work, which she enjoys.  It takes up a large corner of our dining room, but is enough fun at the moment to justify the space!

Opening a pictures and notes from Granma and cousins Clara, Olivia and Nora!

Rochester, NY - Devon & Kristen's wedding weekend

All of the pictures that I took the day of the wedding are on another memory card that the official photographer, Rochelle, has...I'll get some of them eventually.  But, here are some a couple days before and the day after.  Just a few snippets of our time together!  Couldn't copy one of Brendon & Renee's family in here from Facebook...will have to wait until I get copies of the real thing.

Fredonia, NY

Stopped at my Aunt Alma & Uncle Brent's (and their children Charis, Daniel, Trent) house in Fredonia, NY, also en route to Rochester.  Here are a few pictures from our time there, including Aunt Alma's great little puppy, Fiella, who Eyla really enjoyed!

Sauder Farm

On our way out to Rochester, NY a week and a half ago, our sister-in-law Rachel got us passes to Sauder Village in Archbold, OH.  We didn't have a lot of time, and it was a bit hot, but we still enjoyed our time.  Here are a couple pictures of Eyla during her first official farm experience.  The first picture is with Aunt Rachel.
