2 year old celebrations

We celebrated Eyla's birthday a number of times during her birthday week...here are some pictures of those moments!

Cheesin' it up for the camera with her personal birthday cake, made by Grandma, Clara, Olive & Nora!
Attempt number 2 to finish blowing out her candles.

Applebee's birthday lunch with Grandma & Pop Horning...this picture includes the large birthday ice cream sundae that Eyla was at first scared of ("I don't want it" with whining included!), then couldn't get enough of!

Eyla with good friends Brooke & Amanda.  They came over birthday evening to celebrate with pumpkin cookies...and Mr. Potato Head, which Eyla loved.  She cried when we wouldn't let her take it to bed with her that night!

Thanks, Aunt Cherie!  She loved the animal puppets and the outfits are adorable!!!!

11-15-10 Ultrasound

Here are a couple pictures from the latest ultrasound on 11/15/10.

 "It's still a girl..." :)
 Foot
The tech said that the gray part on the top of the head is what looks to be a lot of hair!
Profile shot
Spent the weekend in Columbus with Deke & Andee...we always have such a relaxing time with them, and this weekend was no different.  Just a couple pictures from this afternoon, as that was the only time that we pulled out the camera.
Eyla and Beck...Beck tolerated her very well, but was not a big fan of being held!

Deke & Eyla, enjoying the new sod on the front lawn.

Eyla saying good-bye to the cats, Ano & Beck...This was about as close as Ano would come to Eyla the whole weekend, despite Eyla's intense desire to befriend him!  (For about 10 minutes on the way from Anderson to Columbus, Eyla was completely distraught when we informed her that we were going to Ano, who doesn't have a tail...she kept repeating, "Ano, no tail?" in a very sad, questioning tone.  Even after we got tired of hearing this and tried to change the subject multiple times, she would return to her sadness over his demise!)

Misc...

I guess every child usually does this at some point?  November 3, 2010 was Eyla's day.

33 weeks pregnant, with Eyla pulling on my shirt!
New form of gymnastics - with a large pad of paper hanging on top of you!
So, this isn't the best expression ever, BUT - this was picture number 7 and the best expression up to that point!

35 weeks pregnant
Grandma & Pop here for a visit last Sunday afternoon.

Eyla & Andrew, with tails

The Bennisons stopped over on Halloween so Andrew could show off his cuteness as a monkey.

Picture of the cat & monkey tails...very cute.

To fill you in...

Enjoying two monkeys borrowed from friend Darlene...the one on the left shrieks when you sling-shot it across the room, the one on the left laughs outrageously while it rolls around the floor!  Eyla got a huge kick out of them!  Thanks, Darlene :)

 Eyla and her Dada
 Eyla and her Mama
Found her sitting like this, watching Curious George one evening...
...things like this make her seem older than almost two years old!
Showing off her cat ears and tail that she wore to NorthKids for Halloween.

Playing in the backyard in the leaves

Jas doing some roof replacement on our garage, the same afternoon that Eyla enjoyed the leaves in the back yard!
