So cute...

I have a number of other pictures to post from hanging with friends and family in the last week or two, but don't want to spend the time at the moment...not to completely disappoint, here are a few pics of the cutest of the three of us (by the way, in case I don't post this weekend, E will be 8 months old on Saturday...crazy.)
This picture was a little blurry, but her expression is so funny! She has been giving some random toothy grins (and gritting her teeth - yuck) that just crack us up.

This is her first try with a sippy cup. She just thought it was a new chew toy...she got one drink, when I held her and the cup like she was drinking from a bottle. Oh, well, she'll figure it out sometime.

First, and probably last, bath in the kitchen sink. It was fun, but she splashed EVERYWHERE! And because there was no tub wall to stop it, I and the rest of the kitchen ended up getting a bath of our own. She loved it, as you can tell!

Sunday with friends

Spent a good part of the day with our old community housemates. Conner's, Danskey's and Hornings met at Panera for coffee, bagels and catching-up. Then, Danskey's & Hornings went to Indianapolis to meet the newest Wolff, Lyra Elizabeth Wolff, born yesterday. She is adorable and so tiny! So good to see all of you, especially Nathan & Teresa, who we havn't seen in over a year, since they have been on another continent!

Talking

Eyla has continued to jabber, squeal, chatter, hoot like an owl and just be a lot of fun to listen to! Here are a couple pictures of her doing just that! Add your own sound effects for more enjoyable viewing : )

Beautiful face

Saturday morning...

Just some cute pictures from our lazy Saturday morning...Eyla is moving so much, from sitting to belly to back, craning her neck to see what she can hear, but not see...very fun. The picture at the bottom is of her enjoying a new "toy", a "Fresh Food Feeder". It is a little mesh pocket that you can put fruits, veggies, etc. So far, we have given her a couple ice cubes in it, and she loves it! She ends up very wet and with cold hands, but definitely enjoyable!

Last 24 hours...

Eyla had her first bath in the "big" tub last night...had a great time!

This morning, we had a mini photo shoot while Jas was at work. These are two of my favorites!

Friends

Eyla and I got a chance to see our friends, Emily & Nathan, in Findlay, OH on July 4 (Jas was golfing with the Matthews!) We figured it has been 2 years since we saw them, on our way to the Outer Banks in 2007 - too long! Eyla was intrigued with Nathan's shirt and goatee...It was so great to see you two!
