Ice Cream in PA

 Had a great time with Rochelle & Doug in Gap, PA...including a trip to Lapp Farm, where they make their own ice cream on site....hhhmmmm, good.  The trip was made especially fun with Eyla getting an up-close encounter with some calves and a peacock!

Overnight in Pittsburgh

On our way to Gap, PA last week, we took a short overnight (11pm-9am) stop in Pittsburgh, at Devon & Kristen (and friends!) house.  Enjoyed a late night visit before catching a few hours of sleep, then waking to bagels and a few more minutes with D & K before they headed off to their jobs and we headed on to Gap.  Here are a few pictures from the stop:

Eyla, the Super Hero

 

This is not the outfit Eyla would normally be caught in on a Saturday evening, but I had taken her clothes off to have her try on somethings that I was sorting through, and then she found these shoes, and was carrying the blanket and...waaa-laaa ~ a super hero is born!

We had small group last weekend, including a little celebration for Benny & Rachel, whose little Andrew is due the first week of October.  Here are a few pictures from our fun!

Catching up (again!) in pictures

So, a few weeks have passed since I've blogged, but the fun has not stopped...here are a few pictures of things we've been doing, and people we've been with!  Enjoy...

Eyla has a new-found love for pockets.  She can often be seen walking around with her hands in her pockets, like this picture...my boss saw her at daycare today, and suggested we check her pockets, as she was working very hard to stuff something in there!  My guess?  Mulch from the playground ~ that seems to be the most popular things we've found in the laundry lately!!

 

This is the best expression for her out of 5 tries...better luck next time :)

A few pictures from the toddler playground, only a couple blocks from our house, and a few from the Playland at McDonald's, where Eyla got to play with her friend Marah and see her old caregiver, Jessie, from Park Place.  Fun times!
