6 months old

6 months old today...1st half birthday! For those of you that don't recognize or celebrate 1/2 birthdays, let me just tell it is a great tradition, especially when kids get old enough to tell their age - those half years are a BIG deal!

Eyla had her 6 month check-up at the Dr. today. 17.8 pounds, 25.25 inches long, which keeps her at the 75th percentile for her age. Dr. says she doing great!


Sitting up, without help. Still needs a soft spot to fall or a hand to catch her, as she loses her balance quite a bit (which she did after I took this picture - oops!)


















Beautiful blue eyes still - the more time that passes, the more we are feeling like she might keep them. Aren't they beautiful!?!








Sleeping this evening, in the light coming in the window. So precious. We love her SOOOOOOO much.
