Funny things she says...

I havn't posted much on here about things Eyla does or says, but I thought I might list a few here for fun and memory sake!

-Eyla's car seat is behind the driver's seat in the car.  If we get in and don't buckle immediately, she says, "Mama/Dada, tar teat!" (car seat - instructing us to buckle up!)

-She will point a finger at us and say emphatically, "no, no, no!"  (Think she learned this one at daycare!)

-In the morning, she often ends up cuddling with us in bed.  Will roll from side to side and say "hi, Mama" and "hi, Dada", sometimes accompanied with a wave or touch to our faces.

-If we put her down out of the bed, but don't follow her, she will tell us to "get up"!

-Loves watching Curious George on PBS...will often ask for "George" as we get out of bed, come home, finish a meal, etc.

-Just came home from daycare today with a new trick: raises hands in claws and growls = scaring = monster.  Not exactly something that we would teach her, but VERY funny!  She proceeded to scare Aunt Shell, Unc Dug and (dog) Simon tonight via Skype!

-A couple months ago, when she had a pretty bad diaper rash, we would say that she was "sore" when we changed her diaper, acknowledging her pain.  I would often follow up her claims of "sore" with "I know, I'm sorry".  Recently, when she says she is "sore", she will quickly follow with "sore...I know, I know".

-When asked what she wants to eat for a meal or what she had for lunch at daycare, her immediate response is "pizza".

-If we give her an option of milk or water to drink, her response is "juice".

-Can spot a bird, school bus or airplane before anyone else.

-"Oh, no", "Oh, my", "I dropped it", "I got it" are frequently interjected in her conversations.  The first two phrases are often accompanied with her hands on her cheeks in a dismayed gesture!

-Sings "A-B-C's", "Twinkle, Twinkle", "Itsy-Bitsy Spider", and others.

-Loves to wear (and not take off!) shoes and her fleece jacket.

-Likes to help clean, including finding every spray cleaner we happen to leave in her reach and pretend she is spraying it.  Also manages to put the toilet brush in the toilet regularly and will quickly pull a stool or chair over to the sink to "help" wash dishes.
